The Big C Season 3
If you're like me and don't get cable and enjoyed the first two seasons and hate watching streaming TV shows on your PC, of course you will want to spring for this. Yes, it's a little pricey for 10 episodes but still worth it for fans.
This being a MOD offering, the discs themselves have basic white labels with text in black (similar to the BRIDGET LOVES BERNIE or CHARLIE'S ANGELS Season Five set from Sony). The menus are VERY generic and do not feature any photos or thumbnails from the show; just a boring background with episode titles for selection. There is a PLAY ALL feature but NO chapter stops within the episodes themselves, nor any close-captioning for the hearing-impaired.
Great show, poor dvd for $35.00!!
A very cheap and very poor transfer put on on-demand, burned DVDs. Only 1 GB per episode, very un-dense, and it pixellates on large TV screens. Another example of the company putting out a poor slipshod product rather than manufacturing real DVDs. Be warned; get it from the library and burn it yourself with DVDShrink instead.
Season 3 &4 No subtitles
I bought the first two seasons with the intention of purchasing the rest of them but suddenly no sub-titles. That takes care of us older hard of hearing people. If you think it is young people who alone are watching the Big C - you are wrong. Follow the money. See how good your sales are now.
